2 cakes to show:) I have baked the Yammy Day for a friend who was thinking of ordering a cake from me for his mum's birthday. If you reading this post, maybe you want to consider this cake. I realised many people love yam.

Yammy Day (Size: ~9"x3" S$30)
Chocolate Royaltine Torte (Size: 9"x4" S$48)
The above is a cake which took me at at least 5 hrs to finish. The french cream alone took me ~1 hr. Instead of cocoa cruch where many bakers out there used, I have used a type of chips from France called Feuillite. The cake is also moistened with liquor.
Enjoy feasting with your eyes. Call me at 98482306 if you are keen to order cakes I have posted so far.
More cakes on the way......

I don't normally bake during weekdays cos the next day I still have to work. However, today is a special case, it's my colleague's birthday.

I have made a Banana Chocolate Mousse Cake.

Had a very hectic weekend. Baked chicken pies, a pandan cake and 2 ice-cream cakes. I have made 2 different flavours, a mango and another chocolate. I personally prefer the mango ice-cream cake cos I always prefer fruits. Love the fragrant from the mango. This ice-cream cake is quite a tedious cake to make cos I have to first make the ice-cream. Took me abt 8hrs to prepare the ice-cream.

Chocolate Ice-Cream Cake

This was how it looked when the cake was cut.

Breezy Sunrise Mango

These 2 cakes weighed abt 1.5 to 2Kg each. I will be charging $28 for the Sunrise Mango and $30 for the Chocolate Ice Cream cake.

Instead of cakes, I have decided to spend my whole Sunday to bake some pies and fruit flans.

S$2 each (minimum order 10pcs)

I have used 2 types of pastries for this chicken pie. The base was the short crust pastry while the top was the puff pastry. Even though was tedious, but the results from the 'testers' are all positive. Really glad. The fillings are chicken chunks, potatoes, mixed vegetable. As for the seasoning, I have used black pepper, oregano and some salt to taste The chicken pcs are not minced or just small chicken pieces. They were really chucks. I liked it this way cos pies should give the one eating it a feeling of being 'home'. Hope you can understand what I am trying to describe ha ha :).

size: ~9x9 inch $30 each

The second part of my Sunday, I baked 2 fruit flans. I have used filo sheets for my base, creme patisserie (a type of cream originated from France) and fruits as the top. The creme tasted superb, seems thick but looks are always quite deceiving, is quite light actually. Took me about 2 hrs to cook this creme. But ...worth it. In fact, I don't mind just eating it with a slice of bread.
